He was predeceased by: his parents, Alf Poechman and Mary Poechman; and his son Evan. He is survived by: his daughter Julie (Calgary); his grandson Bodhi (Calgary); his daughter-in-law Tracey (Calgary); and his close friend Cathy (late Albert).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calgary Wheelchair Curling Association.
