He is survived by: his children, Jay Whitecotton, Crystal Cardinal (Grant) and William Whitecotton Rubio; his grandchildren, Max Whitecotton and Kyler Cardinal; his siblings, Louise Langlois (Elmer), Sue Ferguson (Dave), Myrna Bruns (Bill), Cathy Bolin (Bob), Marty Whitecotton (Laurie), Julie Brown (Dave) and Laurie Stol (Albert); and his sister-in-law Susan Whitecotton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
