He was predeceased by: his parents, Lal Duncan and Jack Duncan; his sister Althea; and his brother-in-law Wally. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son Kyle; his daughter-in-law Rei; his grandson Akira; his daughter Amanda; his sister Marie (Bruce); his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou (Gord) and Loretta; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Ella, Evan, Sarah, Emily (Rachel), Russell and Douglas.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Anglican Church (2828 19 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M3V8).
