He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his son Derek; his parents, George and Gladys; and his siblings, Marjorie, Sid, Eva and Ethel.
He is survived by: his children, Philip and Gillian; his great grandchildren, Ridge, Slate, Oakdon, Grayson, Violet and Lachlan; his stepsister Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Mike and Helen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
