He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his brother Ken; and his half-siblings, Charles Kirby Jr. and Ruth Legg. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Lorraine; his children, Darcy Kirby (Lorraine Wise) of Calgary, Diane Templeton (Robert) of Cochrane and Brad Kirby (Melody) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Cody of Calgary, Jordan of Calgary, Jamie Templeton of Calgary, Mitchell of Calgary and Marcus Kirby of Calgary; and his brothers, Donald Kirby (Betty) of Calgary and Richard Kirby (Bobbi) of Drumheller.
