He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirlie; his daughter Melissa (Dene) of Lethbridge; his mother Viola of Lethbridge; his siblings, Fay Jacobson (Per) of Saskatoon and Les (Anne) of Prince George; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Kostuik (Bert) of Regina, Marilyn Ackerman (Manuel) of Regina, Phyllis Smallwood (Charlie) of Regina and Harold Dean (Sandy) of Bella Coola; his friend Dave (Donna) of Moose Jaw; his father Fritz; and his parents-in-law, Russel Dean and Miros. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
