It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Elaine Sorvisto (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on February 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Moseley Jr (Earl Winter); her sons, Richard and Kirk; and her grandsons, BJ and Paul.

She is survived by: her former spouse Willie Sorvisto of Edmonton, AB; her daughters, Wendy (Lorne), Bonnie (Jon), Susan (Leo) and Debra (Lee); and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Steinriede (Marty). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

“Lois was huge source of encouragement to me and my family when we served at GBC in Airdrie. She was so full of the joy of the Lord and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and often talked about them. Lois was such a vivacious senior citizen who always seemed to be adventuring somewhere. I hope that I will have her energy and passion for life when I reach my 70s and 80s. Her faith in Jesus was strong, I know that we will meet again in His presence. Pastor Mike Nedelko GBC”
