It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lord Ivan Buchanan (Calgary, Alberta), born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Buchannan and Eddie Buchannan of North Sydney; and his siblings, Willena, Cathy, Sheila, Walter and Bernie.
He is survived by: his friend Dolittle; his stepchildren, Leah Ivey, Steven Ivey (Ashley Oravevz) of Dartmouth, NS and Sébastien Côté (Crystal); his grandsons, Cameron and Logan Côté of Edmonton, AB.; his siblings, John Buchannan (Ann) of North Sydney, NS, Lee Buchanan (Jane) of New Brunswick, Herman Rohrback of British Columbia, Henry Rohrback of Ontario, Georgina Macintyre (Joey) of Nova Scotia and Theresa Quirk (Gower) of Alberta; his close friend Dennis MacDougall of New Brunswick; his friends, Darrell Dubeck of Calgary, AB and Greg Custodio Fox (Marianne); and also, Emilia and Alexander of Victoria, BC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews' family and friends.
