The memory of Loretta Eva Smith (Calgary, Alberta), born in Salvador, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Smith; her sisters, Adeline Mann (Dick) and Mary (Frank); and her parents, Peter Schaefer and Helen Schaefer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy, Lori and Teddi; and her siblings, Richard Schaefer (Alma), Neita Saenz, Alvin Schaefer (Gloria), Ted Schaefer (Doreen) and Norbert Schaefer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Loretta's Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home ~ Prairie View Chapel (1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery and a reception at the White Cliffe Community Hall (2715 Dovely Park SE, Calgary) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
