She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcelina and Juan; and her brother Nap. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Gonzales; her son John (Aileen); her grandchildren, Matthew (Mikyla) and Tia; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Jaxon, Benjamin, Lucas and Mia; her siblings, Nelson (Beneluz), Franklin (Adele) and Merlin (Serafin); and her extended family, Holloway and Eastside. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Eastside Memorial (5388 Memorial Dr, Calgary, AB T2A3V9). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1525 45 St SE, Calgary, AB T2A1N3).
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
