He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne; his parents, John E. Phillips and Mary Phillips; and his siblings, Muriel, Ken and Alta.
He is survived by: his children, David Phillips (Gail) of Calgary and Debbie Cowan (Cal) of Moose Jaw; his grandchildren, Matt Cowan of Nanaimo, Jason Cowan (Jen) of Calgary, Jocelyn MacDonald (Scott) of Whistler and Brianna Dulmage (Mick) of Calgary; his great grandchildren, Carter, Mason Dulmage, Cash, Frankie Cowan, Rio and Casey MacDonald; his siblings-in-law, Laurie Friesen and Merla Gibson; and also, Witney Austen (Lea), Sam, Ryan Austen, Cody Rodriguez, Cruz and Kaius Rodriguez.
