She was predeceased by: her sister Isabelle Smith; her great grandchild Christine; her brother-in-law Frank Best; her husband Duane; her brothers-in-law, Tony Barvir and Wallace Matthews; and her sister Alice Best.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Ulmer (Richard) of Mission, BC, Kathy Bailey of Calgary, June Swift (David) of Calgary and Shirley Sommer (Tim) of Victoria, BC.; her siblings, Ray Cowley (Connie), Elaine Barvir and Olive Wood (John); her siblings-in-law, Mae Matthews, Herb Best and Gordon Best (Margaret-Rose); and her daughter Mabel. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
