It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maida Violet Edey (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her former husband Hugo Frederiksen; her children, Kathleen Hamm (Brian Hamm), Matthew Frederiksen (Melissa Smith) and Meredith Petherick (Bruce Petherick); her grandchildren, Emily, Liam (Hamm), Alex (Frederiksen), Skye and Corbin (Petherick); and her child Maida.
