She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Purves of Jedburgh and Jean; and her siblings, Amy, Katie, Alison, Jenny, Christine (Tina) and Alexander.

She is survived by: her children, Alexander, Kenneth, Rodney (Judy), Linda Smith (Garry) and Irene Dear (Bob). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
