She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Best; her parents, John Battle and Catherine Battle; and her siblings, John Jr. (Wilma), Bob (Lois), Irene (Allan), Louise (Vic) and Jim (Denise).
She is survived by: her siblings, Fred (Carol), Lorraine, Joan, Gladys and Betty-Ann; and her cousin Gloria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
