She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Kenneth Symington and Marion Symington (Wilson) of Calgary. She is survived by: her husband G. R. McAthey (Buzz); her children, Bruce Robinson and Trish Lund (Malcolm); her grandson Garreth Robinson of Calgary; her siblings, Tom Symington (Gerry George) of Columbia Lake, BC, Jean Hage (Robert) of Ottawa, ON and Nancy Snead (Bob) of Camano Island, WA.; and her stepson Brent McAthey of Mazatlán. She is also survived by two children as a working single mother.
