In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alberto Nunes Costa. She is survived by: her daughter Humberta; her son-in-law Guilherme Rodrigues; her grandchildren, Matthew (Lauren), Marissa (Andrew) and Megan (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Xena and Olivia; and her sister Ermelinda Sousa (Antonio). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 30 St SE, Calgary, AB T2B3K5). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
