Maria Klippenstein Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Klippenstein (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Klippenstein to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Suzanna Neufeld and Gerhard Neufeld; and her sons, Johnny and Ethan Klippenstein. She is survived by: her children, David, Nadia Klippenstein, Luke, Sarah, Maximus, Kostya, Suzanne, Dale Fruson, Darren, Catherine McGregor, Amanda, Scott McAfee, Ericka Gergely, Kahla, Nakia, Michael, Danica, Victoria, Thomas, Benjamin, Elijah and Aubrey Abbot Klippenstein; and her husband John Klippenstein. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.

She was the recipient of the Sylvia Plath Foundation grant in regard to the authorship this book which was also supported by the Mennonite Historical Society.
