It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Lois Halpen of Calgary, Alberta, born in Verwood, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick Halpen; her parents, Jack Weal and Iona Weal; and her brother Howard Weal. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen and John (Heather); her granddaughters, Sadie and Eva; her sister-in-law Rachel Weal; her nieces and nephews, Jeff (Dorrell), Jay (Crystal), Kelly (Shelley), Jacquie (Ken) and Tracy (Trent); her friend Kay (Dave); and her siblings, Theresa, Kathleen and Mike (Carole).
