He was predeceased by: his son Noel (Kari) of Calgary. He is survived by: his wife Marie Betts; his children, Terry (Deb) of Kananaskis and Arlene (Brad) of Rimbey; his grandsons, Nickolas, Zachary, Joseph, Jakob and Colby; his siblings, Glenda Butler of Crossfield and Ron (Dorothy) of Medicine Hat; Irene McLauglin, Christine Raber (Larry) and Daniel Dureault (Ellen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Arbor Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T1X0L4). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T1X0L4). A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Arbor Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T1X0L4).
