We announce the death of Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Lambertus in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Mary Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Rob Lambertus; her son Eddie Lambertus; her parents, Howard Chesney and Dorothy Chesney; and her siblings, Ron Chesney, Donalda Bester and Jim Chesney.

She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Shawna Lambertus; her daughter Cathy Webber; her son-in-law Kelly Jones; her granddaughters, Anita Webber (Steven), Kayla Grudeski (Chris) and Tania Jones; her great grandchildren, Blake and Ty; and her siblings, Bob (Rosanne Chesney), Jerry (Marion Chesney), Tom (Jenny Chesney), Marlene (Willard Teed), Jackie (Clare Poechman) and Nadine (Alan Anstett). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
