With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary MacNeil (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on May 26, 2021 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary MacNeil to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joe MacNeil and Elizabeth MacNeil (MacAdam); her siblings, Eleanor, Michael (Carole), Teresa (Luke) and Donald; her nieces and nephews, Lynn (John) and Graham (Elizabeth); her great-niece Nicole; her great-nephew Max; her nieces and nephews, Kelly (Mark) and Keri (Steve); her foster sister Elizabeth Tonet Woodley; her brother-in-law Luke; her friend Dr. Patricia Petrie; and also, Jayden, Joseph (Jennifer), Douglas (Laurie), Breton, Brenda (Robb), Jeremy and Eric.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, her friends in Calgary and family in Johnstown will announce respective memorial services at an appropriate time in the future.

Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to Cape Breton Hospice/Palliative Care Society, to a Calgary music organization, or to a preferred charity.
