She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne Schafer. She is survived by: her sons, Francis Schafer of Calgary, AB and Kevin (Karen Schafer) of Langley, BC; her grandchildren, Ashely and Kyle; and her siblings, Irma, Leo, George and Alfons. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
