Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Zacher (Calgary, Alberta), born in Rossland, British Columbia, who passed away at the age of 78, on September 15, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brigitte and Percy; and her brothers, Robert (Wilma), Eric (Tonny) and Charles.

She is survived by: her husband Syl Zacher; her children, Natalie (Thomas Bererton), Neil (Lorraine), Trevor (Nathalie) and Darren (Tara Pickford); her grandchildren, Carina, Jordan, Kieran, Ryan, Jasmine, Tara and Abbey; and her siblings, George (Marilyn), Leonard (Sam Leung), Paul (Theresa), Tom (Susan), Cecilia and Imelda.

“Mary lived a full life in the time she was given. She was a beautiful daughter, and loving and fun sister to play with, possessed a deep faith in Jesus and loyalty to her church, she grew into a responsible teen-ager and eventually entered the workforce in a capacity to help people. She became a loving wife and devoted and compassionate mother to her children and I am certain she is the same with her grandchildren. She leaves us an example that we can all emulate.”
