He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipa Dominga Renderos Medinilla and Francisco Alfredo Mejia Sanchez; his brothers, Manuel, Victor, Antonio, Domingo and Guiermo; and his son Moises.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; and his sister Marina Mejia. He is also survived by sons and daughters, his 24 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
