Melissa Jean Byers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa Jean Byers of Calgary, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Melissa Jean departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melissa Jean may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melissa Jean leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her father Garry; her sister Danielle; and her sister-in-law Lisa Byers. She is survived by: her daughter Kaylin Byers; her mother Linda Byers; her brothers, Darren Byers (family: Kristie, Kylie, Regan) and Trevor Byers; and her nieces and nephews, Hailee and Logan Byers. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
