Meta Edna Davis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meta Edna Davis of Calgary, Alberta, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andreas Mehrer and Katharina Mehrer; and her siblings, John, Elizabeth, Martha, Frieda, Edward, Ella, Hilda, Andrew, Emma, Otto, Alice and Paul.

She is survived by: her husband Alexa (Lex); her children, Jean Saunders (Peter) of Calgary, AB, Carol Hutcheson of Calgary, AB and Thomas Davis (Karlynne McEwan) of Victoria, BC.; her grandchildren, William Samson, Kristy Packwood (Anthony), Kelly Saunders Meyerhoff (Scott Meyerhoff) and Julie Saunders (Bart Ujack); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Levi, Jasper, Anika, Seth, Elodie and Sam. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

On Christmas Day 2020 she was diagnosed with COVID 19.
