He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Muriel; his sister Carol; and his niece Kristina. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Geoff (Brittany) and Jenna; his siblings, Tony, Richard (Karen), Gail (John), Brian and Bruce (Karen); and his niece Bonnie (Dean). He is also survived by his children and was able to witness his son Geoff's marriage and his daughter.
