It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Strong of Calgary, Alberta, born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Ivor Strong and Audrey Strong; and his sons, David Strong (Patrica "Tricia") and Stephen Strong. He is survived by: his wife Pat of Calgary, AB; his daughter Tricia Strong of Calgary, AB; his granddaughter Holly Strong of Canmore, AB; his daughter-in-law Henny Simons of Edgewater, BC.; his brothers, Richard Strong of Edmonton, AB and Tony Strong of Long Valley, NJ.; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Lefurgey (Calvin) of Calgary, AB and Mary Ellen McCauley of Glendale, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
