We announce the death of Ming Hu Wong (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 96. Ming will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her brother Alex; her husband Stan Fong; her son Peter Wong (Lola Stoker); her grandchild Brook Wong (Melissa); her sons, Christian Wong (Jocelyn), Logan Wong and John Wong (Susan DeLisle); her grandson Jackson Wong; her great grandchildren, Louie, Summer and Matilda; Alex Wong (Judy, family: Adam Wong), Millie, Valentine, Hali Wong (Adam Snow) and Soli. She is also survived by siblings, Stan's five children.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leyden's Funeral Home (304 18 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2S0C3). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chinese United Church (124 2 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P0B9). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Queen's Park Cemetery (3219 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M3A6).
