He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley; his parents, Miron and Anne; and his brother-in-law Ken Stratichuk. He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Richard) of Gatineau, Tracy (Vince) of Calgary and Jeff (Janet) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Lauren (Tito) of Calgary, Jayce (Casey), Jenna and Jade (Tyler) of Calgary; and his great grandchildren, Leo, Andon, Quinn, Aria and Blake.

In lieu of flowers, the family is grateful to those who wish to donate in Morris's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
