He was predeceased by: his father Chandrahas Motibhai Patel. He is survived by: his mother Sushila Patel; his wife Kapu (Kalpana); his sons, Amish and Kunal; his daughters-in-law, Anuka and Amy; his grandchildren, Maya, Rohan, Priya, Neal and Sonia; his brothers, Kamal and Paresh; and his sisters-in-law, Jayshree and Sandhya.
