He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom and Sylvia; his wife Sharon; and his brother Les. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Walker (Kim) and Amanda Ross (Kail); his grandchildren, Chloe, Logan, Jack, Victoria and Teddy; his brother Jerry Walker (Bev); and his sisters-in-law, Freda Walker, Louise Busch (Garth) and Linda Smith.
