Naeem Merchant Obituary

He was predeceased by: his father Mohamed Ali Merchant; and his uncle Amin Adatia. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie; his children, Adam and Hannah Merchant; his mother Zarina Merchant; his sister Sameena Merchant; his brother-in-law Shamez Kotadia; and his sibling's children, Ziyana Kotadia and Mikal Kotadia.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eden Brook Funeral Home (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z3K2). A reception was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Pinebrook Golf & Country Club (166 Pinebrook Way, Calgary, AB T3Z3K3).

Donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders in Naeem's name.
