Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nick Alex leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Slezinsky and Mary Slezinsky; and his siblings, John Slezinsky (Shirley Slezinsky) and Linda Mantin. He is survived by: his wife Fran Slezinski; his daughter Marsha Slezinski (Rick Gumienny); his granddaughter Rachelle Simoes (Sheldon Simoes); and his sisters, Rose Buffone (Luigi Buffone) and Victoria Hamilton (Mervin Hamilton). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion 285 (9202 Horton Rd SW, Calgary, AB T2V2X4).
