He was predeceased by: his parents, Camillo Auriti and Balbina Auriti; his sister Theresa; his father-in-law Alf; and his brothers-in-law, Jim and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Connie, John (Rebecca) and Roger (Sandra); his grandchildren, Corbin, Haley, Darien, Carli and Raina; his brother Antonio (Antonietta) of Guardiagrele; his mother-in-law Helen; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon (Rita), Terry (Gaylene), Myrna (Eldon), Mary Lou (Jerry) and Sandra. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
