It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Roy Akins (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Nora; and his brother John (Victoria). He is survived by: his children, Kevin, Allan, Angela, Anthony and Robert; his grandchildren, Lydan, Aaron, Kayla, Craig, Christina, Crystal, Chantal, Jessica and Andrew; his siblings, Alfred, Sylvia, Gordon, Louis, Ken and Evelyn; and the mother of his children Dorothy Akins. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
