He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Annie; his siblings, Nick and Elsie; and his grandson Braeden Berg.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Daniel (Kim), Blair (Robin), Neil (Erin) and Carolyn (Allan); and his grandchildren, Danica, Sophia, Lucas and Averie.
