He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria De Jesus Borges and Matias Inacio Martins; and his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his daughters, Filomena (Kim), Berta (Marc) and Luisa (Craig); his grandchildren, Ricardo (Joanne), Vanita (Dennis), Sergio, Josh, Sofia (Ryan), Nina and Marissa; and his great grandchildren, Archimedes, Hypatia, Josephine and Curia.
