She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Lloyd Samoil; and her siblings, Mary Arbter, Nell Melnychyn (Paul), Kay Waslewsky (Walt), Anne Paterson (Ian), Steve Fushtey (Ruth), Andy Fushtey (Mary) and Bill Fushtey (Marie).
She is survived by: her sister Liz; her children, Dawna Roskies, Leo Lloyd Samoil Jr. of Calgary and Lisa Popp (Steve) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Jesse, Wendy Roskies, Meghan Armstrong (Ryan), Kyle Samoil, Mitchell and Julianna Popp; and her great grandchildren, Isla and Owen Armstrong.
