With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Opinderjit Singh Cheema (Calgary, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Narinder Kaur Cheema; his son Adarashpaul Cheema (Arshie); his daughters-in-law, Rajpaul Cheema (Raj) and Karen; his grandchildren, Zorvaver, Marley, Alexie, Jovin, Arya and Asher; his parents, Ram Singh Cheema and Pritam Kaur Cheema; his siblings, Rajinder Singh Cheema, Balinder Kaur Johal (Amarjit Singh Johal) and Narinder Kaur (Neena); and his siblings-in-law, Harpal Singh Tiwana and Surinder Kaur Cheema. He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, and their children.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Country Hills Crematorium and Funeral Services (11995 16 St NE, Calgary, AB T3K0S9).
