She is survived by: her husband Laurence Verhegge; her children, Derek Verhegge (Joanna) and Kim Finkle; her grandchildren, Laurence Verhegge (Natasha), Shellby Finkle, Taylor Rae Verhegge and Coda Verhegge; her siblings, Dave Gilkes (Pat), Sharon Gilkes (Libby) and Denise Hans (Monty); and her nieces and nephews, Bruce Gilkes (Christy), Greg Gilkes and Chris Hans.

Pat was very proud of the fact she gave back to her community by making over 300 blood donations.
