He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Patrick Sarsfield and Gwendoline Rose Ferraby; his son James Edward; and his former wife Mary. He is survived by: his children, Richard (Leanne), Rebecca (Loran), Patrick, Catherine (Nick) and Joe; his wife Catherine; his grandchildren, Hannah, James, Fintan, Thomas, Alex and Meagan; and his great grandchildren, Ava and Ted.
