Paul leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Paul’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Paul will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Demers and Helen Demers. He is survived by: his wife Judy Steiert; his children, Suzanne Demers and Steven (Laura); his grandchildren, James of Calgary and Isabelle of Calgary; and his siblings, Bob Demers and Marilyn MacDonald.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Silver Springs Community Centre (5720 Silver Ridge Dr NW, Calgary, AB T3B5E5).
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
