“I had the privilege of getting to know Paul during many hikes and backcountry ski trips with Alf Skrastins. Paul was very fit and he loved being in the mountains. He had a great zest for life and wanted to live for many more years. Although that was not to be, he lived fully during the time he had. He always took out his water colours and painted the mountain scenes during our hiking breaks. I cherish the painting that he gave me as it will always remind me of him. Bibiana Cujec”
