He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandsons, Max, Sam and Eli; his adoptive daughter Krista; and also, Parker, Reid and Sage.

As COVID moved us closer to semi-retirement, we took up gardening, planting many perennials in our yard, started reading the books left unread/unfinished, and taking time to enjoy the many birds that visited our backyard bird feeders for a snack or our bird bath for a quick drink or clean-up.
