He was predeceased by: his brother Jacob. He is survived by: his children, Terra Xavier, Peter Friesen and Erin Friesen; his grandsons, Zion, Kiril, Isaiah, Ezra and Kingston; and his siblings, John, Marty, Neil, Mary, Bettie, Agnes, Kathy and Smoky.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A reception will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting something green in his name - he'd have liked that.
