He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Olson and Bob Olson; his parents-in-law, Donalda and Chris Rude; his sister-in-law Lindy Olson; and his pets, Lancer, Rowdy, Buffy, Blue, Precious Freddie, Belle Amie, Beau Regard and Gus.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Justin (Christine Paley) of Winnipeg and Laura (Jesse Radu) of Saskatoon; and his pet Liv Ingot.
