Philip Robert Colgate Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2020, at the age of 69, Philip Robert Colgate of Calgary, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Wendy; his parents, Dr. Robert Forbes Colgate and Jean Colgate; and his father-in-law Norman Thurn. He is survived by: his daughters, Karissa (Dave Slyker) and Shannon; his siblings, Brian Colgate, Susan Colgate, Catherine Coss (Roger), Pat Warder and Carol Hutchinson (late Dave); his mother-in-law Elvira Thurn; his siblings-in-law, Donna (Al Mikl), Tim (Marjorie), Doug (Vicki) and Peter (Chris); and his pets, cat, Kenya and dog, Mica. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews on all sides of the family.
Due to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, and at Philip's request, following cremation there will be an intimate family service at the Garden of Serenity, Mountain View Memorial Gardens on September 9th at 10:30 am where he will be interred alongside Wendy.
