He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Nickerson and Lennie Nickerson (Hazelton); and his sister Beverly. He is survived by: his children, Angie, Ben, Joseph and Josh; and his siblings, Linda (James), Rosann (Sterling), Judson (Sandra) of Yarmouth, Mitchell (Doreen) of Yarmouth, Roland (Dawn) of Yarmouth, Anthony (Heather) of Yarmouth and Clinton of Yarmouth. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or charity of choice.
